What data we collect

PeakCalc does not require account creation and does not store personal data from calculator use. All calculations run entirely in your browser — no inputs are transmitted to or stored on any server.

The only case in which we collect personal data is if you voluntarily submit our email form to request the free Colorado budget spreadsheet template. In that case, we collect your email address and pass it to our email service provider (Mailchimp or ConvertKit) to fulfill the request. You may unsubscribe at any time.

Cookies

PeakCalc itself does not set first-party cookies. However, third-party services embedded on this site — including Google AdSense and Google Analytics — may set cookies to serve relevant ads and measure traffic.

• Google AdSense uses cookies to display ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
• Google Analytics uses cookies to collect anonymized traffic data (pages visited, session duration, device type). IP addresses are anonymized.

You can opt out of personalized advertising at any time via Google's ad settings. You can also use the NAI opt-out tool or install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Third-party advertising

This site uses Google AdSense to display advertisements. Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website and other websites on the internet. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to users based on their visit to PeakCalc and/or other sites on the internet.

Some links on PeakCalc are affiliate referral links. When you click an affiliate link and complete a purchase or sign-up, we may earn a small commission from the partner at no additional cost to you.

Current affiliate partners may include insurance comparison services (such as LendingTree, Gabi Insurance) and mortgage or financial planning tools. This list may change over time.

Data sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade personal data to third parties. The only data shared is:

• Email addresses submitted via the template form — shared with our email service provider to deliver the requested content.
• Anonymized, aggregated traffic data — shared with Google Analytics for site improvement purposes.

Children's privacy

PeakCalc is not directed at children under the age of 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects when changes were last made. Continued use of PeakCalc after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
